Robert is a Solicitor in the firm’s Civil Litigation Department. Admitted as a Solicitor in 1986 he has specialized in civil litigation and personal injury work for over 30 years.

He was appointed a Member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel in 1996 and a Litigator Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers in 2005 and is an accredited solicitor by The Treasury Solicitor (Solicitors to Government Departments). He has also assisted the Force Solicitor of West Yorkshire Police on a number of occasions most notably when his Deputy was seconded to the Metropolitan Police for the duration of the 7/7 Inquests in 2010 and 2011 as well as three other Police Forces.

Robert can help you with claims for/against compensation arising from accidents and industrial disease, disputes of all kinds including, contract (private or commercial), employer/employee, neighbour, shareholder, building, wills and probate, landlord and tenant and professional negligence (medical or otherwise). He is equally comfortable advising and assisting corporate bodies as well as individuals.

Robert’s prime motivation and the reason he became and enjoys being a Solicitor is helping those “wronged” who instruct him to get the best and quickest result possible preferably by negotiation but if not then full and effective use of both the law, civil procedure rules and courts. He prides himself in making this process as stress free and economical as possible for his clients. He can work on a “no-win, no-fee” basis in appropriate circumstances and endeavours whatever case funding basis is adopted to make the dispute resolution process both user friendly and “understood” for his clients.

Robert is a sport fanatic playing cricket and golf as well as being a keen supporter of the Bradford Bulls since before he could walk.
